EAGLE-OCT.-API is the API service, which enables you to use the program without a Web browser. The API service is developed based on the Web application EAGLE-OCT.-web. EAGLE-OCT.-web is a program providing ship form and ship performance data from their main particulars and enables an assessment of their performance in actual seas using OCTARVIA-web/API and SALVIA-OCT.-web/API.

EAGLE-OCT.-API is the API service, which enables you to use the program without a Web browser. The API service is developed based on the Web application EAGLE-OCT.-web. EAGLE-OCT.-web is a program providing ship form and ship performance data from their main particulars and enables an assessment of their performance in actual seas using OCTARVIA-web/API and SALVIA-OCT.-web/API.

This program allows users without having detailed ship geometry and performance data to assess the performance of their ships in actual seas. The analysis results can be utilized in connection with each company's business systems and data infrastructure. This also facilitates integration with existing systems and compatibility with each company's specific formats.

The main inputs and outputs are as follows.
Input: ship length, ship breadth, draft, displacement, design speed, propeller diameter, gear ratio, maximum continuous output, main engine revolution (at maximum continuous output)
Output: sectional data, waterplane, height of center of gravity above water line, transverse metacentric height, natural period of roll, coefficient of fullness, wetted surface area, length of bilge keel, breadth of bilge keel, distance between center of gravity and rudder shaft, projected lateral area of rudders, rudder height, aspect ratio of rudder, chord length of rudder at shaft center, radius of gyration, projected areas, drag coefficient due to winds, propeller pitch ratio, expanded blade area ratio, propeller characteristics, self-propulsion factors, specific fuel consumption, output power of auxiliary

To use this application

This application requires a paid subscription. To use this application, you must apply for membership registration which includes the signing of a written license agreement with NMRI and the Terms of Use for Programs of the OCTARVIA Project. Please go to the Registration page to register.


Fees

Fixed fee 528,000 JPY annually
Number of lines included 500 times/year
Overage charge*1 836 JPY / count (for a year)

*1Counts do not include times when calculations could not be completed due to input errors or other issues.

The contract period is 12 months from the date of signing.

If you wish to perform a connection test before signing the contract, please contact by "Contact Us" page in NMRI Cloud. We can provide a connection verification (free of charge) for two days.

Billing Timing: The fixed fee is charged at the time of a contract. The overage charges will be charged at the end of the contract period.

The fee is calculated based on JST.
